Hudsonville High School senior Blake Hibbitts
HUDSONVILLE, Mich. (WZZM)- WZZM and Meijer are pleased to recognize Hudsonville High School senior Blake Hibbitts as our Meijer Scholar Athlete of the Week for the week of February 13th.
Blake is a three-sport star at Hudsonville. He currently averages 17 points per game for the basketball team. When the season ends, he will trade in his gym shoes for baseball cleats. Blake was 8-1 with a 1.0 ERA last spring pitching for the Eagle baseball team. He'll play both sports while receiving a full-ride scholarship to Samford University next year. Blake also was the quarterback of the Hudsonville football team in the fall throwing for more than 1,500 yards with eleven touchdowns.
Blake also excels in the classroom. A National Honor Society member, he sports a 3.97 grade point average. Blake intends to study accounting at Samford.
