reserve/non-football illness list. Patterson is still on the mend from brain
surgery following the diagnosis of arteriovenous malformation which caused him
to have a seizure during camp last year.
Both players are eligible to return to practice between Weeks 6 and 9 of the
Philly also placed guard Mike Gibson on injured reserve with a hip flexor
issue and waived wide receiver Jamel Hamler.
