Cards sweep Diamondbacks

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Allen Craig hit a two-run home run and Kyle Lohse threw five strong innings as the St. Louis Cardinals capped a three-game sweep of the Arizona Diamondbacks with a 7-2 win on Wednesday.

Lohse (5-1) gave up just one run on seven hits and added a basehit and a run scored from the plate for the Cardinals, who went 4-2 on their six-game road trip. Matt Holliday hit a two-run double while Rafael Furcal went 4-for-5 with a run scored in the win.

Wade Miley (3-1) gave up three runs on 10 hits over 5 2/3 innings and also drove in a run for the Diamondbacks, who have lost five straight and seven of eight. Aaron Hill drove in the other run while Lyle Overbay and Ryan Roberts each posted three hits.
