Scott Gundersen creates 'Grace' for ArtPrize 2010.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM)- An entry into ArtPrize represents a woman who survived genocide in Rwanda. Scott Gundersen's entry this year is called "Grace."
It is a portrait made with more than 9,000 used wine corks. It took about 50 hours to complete. Grace is a woman Gundersen met in Rwanda. He says she escaped execution and spent years coming to terms with what happened. She is currently saving money to earn a masters degree in Grand Rapids.
Gundersen's piece will be on display inside the BOB.
