CUTLERVILLE, Mich. (WZZM) - An employee at the Mobil 76th Street Truck Stop is recovering from injuries he received while trying to stop a robbery suspect from leaving.

Kent County Sheriff's Deputies say the employee, 31 year old Jeremy Henshaw, followed the suspect out of the store.  Henshaw tried to block the getaway by standing in front of the car, but the driver did not stop, and hit Henshaw.

He suffered minor head and neck injuries. Deputies say all subjects involved have been identified and a copy of the report will be forwarded to the Kent County Prosecutor's Office for review.
