BELDING, Mich. (WZZM) - A family-owned restaurant that's been serving Ionia County for nearly 40 years is closing its doors for good. The Driftway Inn will serve its last meal Saturday night.

Owners blame declining sales and a drastic drop in customers. They also tell our partner, the Greenville Daily News that their business was doing fine until Michigan's smoking ban took effect. They estimate they lost about 40% of business after that.

14 workers are losing their jobs.
