Super Saver - Back to College Shopping - Top 5 items not to buy

(WZZM) - We all know going to college is expensive.  It seems tuition rises every year and when you add on room and board, it's even higher. 

Kaitlynn Cornelius of Grand Rapids is going to Western Michigan in Kalamazoo later this month.  She's very organized and wants to know exactly what she should bring to school.  She asked a lot of her friends on Facebook who have already graduated and got several tips.

So, we set out to find the top 5 expenses college students shouldn't waste their money on.  A recent survey came up with these suggestions:

• Filing Drawers
• A printer for your computer
• Too much new clothing 
• Textbooks - New
• A car
