Mother’s Day is right around the corner and we want to give one lucky Mother-in-Law a fresh new look!
Take Five, Younkers and Philip Anthony Salon & Spa want you to tell us why your Mother-in-Law deserves a new makeover!

Here's the details:
Makeover My Mother-in-Law Mother’s Day Contest:

  • Email Take Five a letter 50 words or less with a photo of your Mother-in-Law telling us why your Mother-in-Law deserves a new makeover. The email address is: contests@wzzm13.com.
  • Take Five will select one woman 18 years of age or older to receive an image consultation and new outfit from Younkers of Grandville, and hair and make-up services from Philip Anthony Salon & Spa.
  • The winner will be announced live on Take Five on Monday, May 5, 2008.
  • The winner must be available on Tuesday, 5/6 from 9:30am to 12:30pm and Wednesday, 5/7 from 9:30am to 12:30pm to receive the makeover services and agree to appear in video for broadcast and live on WZZM 13's Take Five.
  • The winner’s new look will be revealed live on Take Five Thursday, 5/8/2008, however WZZM 13/Take Five reserves the right to make adjustments to the reveal schedule and live and/or taped appearance of winner.
  • The winner must be available and agree to appear live on Take Five for the scheduled reveal on Thursday, May 8 from 4pm to 5pmET
  • All entries must be received via email by 11:30pm ET Sunday, May 4, 2008.
  • Please include an email address, street address, day and evening telephone number for the entrant and telephone contact for nominating person.
  • Winner will be contacted by the producers of Take Five on Monday, May 5, 2008.

    Makeover My Mother-in-Law Mother’s Day Contest

    NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

    The Makeover My Mother-in-Law Mother’s Day Contest contest is open to residents of the state of Michigan. Employees of WZZM 13, Gannett Co., Inc., Younkers, Philip Anthony Salon & Spa, and each of their respective affiliated companies, subsidiaries, advertising or promotional agencies, and other agents, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with such employees, are not eligible. The Contest will begin at 5pm (E.S.T.) on April 29, 2008 and all entries must be received by 11:30pm ET Sunday, May 4, 2008.

    All entries must be received by email: contests@wzzm13.com. Entrants must email a photo of the their Mother-in-Law and a letter consisting of 50 words or less, telling us why your Mother-in-Law deserves a new look from Younkers, Philip Anthony Salon & Spa. All entries must be received no later than 11:30pm ET Sunday, May 4, 2008. The value of the Younkers prize is $200.00. The value of the Philip Anthony Salon prize is $250.00. The total value of the prize is $450.00. Take Five administrators and/or Younkers and Philip Anthony Salon & Spa administrators will contact the winner prior to the on-air announcement.

    Enter by emailing your "Makeover My Mother-in-Law Mother’s Day Contest" photos and letter to contests@wzzm13.com. One Winner will receive a personal new look makeover by Younkers and Philip Anthony Salon & Spa.

    By participating, entrants agree to be bound by the complete Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. Winner must be available to appear on Take Five Monday, May 5, 2008. Winner is responsible for all applicable taxes.

    Winner must provide WZZM 13 the following documentation: State Issued ID or Driver’s License and proof of Social Security Number for tax purposes, winner must also sign prize letter. By signing the letter the winner agrees to abide by the rules and regulations stated when entering, and you are responsible for all applicable taxes. By law, you will be sent a 1099 form for the IRS at the end of the year. The total value of the prize is $450.00.

    By entering the contest, entrants release WZZM 13, Gannett Co., and Younkers, Philip Anthony Salon & Spa, and any other promotional sponsors from any claims, demands losses or liabilities arising in connection with the Makeover My Mother-in-Law Mother’s Day Contest Contest or the receipt or use of any prize awarded.
